Ukrainian soldiers fire back in response to enemy attacks / Photo from Ukraine's Defense Ministry

Russia-led forces' casualties in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, in February 2020 included 38 dead soldiers, while 44 were wounded.

The figures were reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) on March 1.

What is more, the enemy lost five units of military hardware, including an electronic warfare system.

In the event of a threat to the life and health of Ukrainian soldiers, JFO members always give an adequate response by opening fire on the enemy if the latter attempts to seize territories or counteract an enemy reconnaissance group attempting to cross the contact line, it said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Russia-led forces in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, mounted 19 attacks on Ukrainian positions on February 29, as a result of which two members of Ukraine's Joint Forces (JFO) were wounded in action, and another one sustained combat-related injuries.
