Two dozen of prisoners exchanged in east Ukraine

Footage released by the Ministry of Defense shows 12 militant prisoners arriving at unknown location in a bus at night, escorted by Ukrainian servicemen. They were met by officials from the self-styled Donetsk People's Republic, according to Ukraine Today.

The exchange of two dozen of POWs is the result of the Contact group meeting in Minsk on Thursday, August 26, Ukraine Today reports.

Meanwhile, the death toll at the frontline on August 27 was the highest for the Ukrainian army since mid-July.
