OSCE monitored pullback of 27 Ukrainian tanks / Photo from UNIAN

“In government-controlled areas in Luhansk region, the SMM continued monitoring the process of withdrawal of tanks as foreseen in the Addendum to the ‘Package of measures for the implementation of the Minsk agreements.’ The SMM observed the withdrawal of 27 main battle tanks (MBTs) (T-64) from three government-controlled areas in the Security Zone to three storage sites,” reads the report.

The OSCE SMM also noted that the “LPR” militants notified the SMM in writing of the completion of withdrawal of 30 MBTs” the process of which they had monitored the previous day, on October 4.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the OSCE SMM announced the beginning of tanks withdrawal from the contact line by “LPR” militants.
