Russian proxies shell Ukrainian positions in Donbas 11 times on Thursday
Russian-backed militants shelled the positions of the Ukrainian army in eastern Ukraine 11 times on Thursday, according to the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO).
"Starting from 07:50 local time, the combined Russian-separatist forces have opened fire at random from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms eight times, shelling the villages of Opytne, Pisky and Novhorodske. The town of Avdiyivka and Opytne were under sniper fire. A total of 11 attacks on our positions have been registered during the day," the press center said.
Military mine clearance specialists continue eliminating the consequences of fire at an ammunition depot in Svatove. As of today, 15,996 explosive devices have been disposed and 46.7 hectares have been cleared.
