According to a press officer of the Mariupol sector Oleksandr Kindsfater, at 18:55 Kyiv time on February 1, a subversive reconnaissance group of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) moved to the Ukrainian army positions near the village of Pyschevyk.

A military clash lasted until 19:40 Kyiv time.

"At 21:25, 23:15, and 23:17, the DPR units started firing rocket-propelled grenades and small arms on the Ukrainian positions near the town of Maryinka. The Ukrainian servicemen didn't fire back," the report says.
