"Having claimed about non-involvement of the Russian Federation in the military confrontation in Ukraine, Vladimir Putin once again demonstrated that the Kremlin's policy is based on cynical lies and guile," Turchynov noted.
NSDC Secretary of Ukraine noticed that another indisputable evidence of the Russian military aggression against Ukraine "can be found even on the official website of the Presidential Administration of Russia."
"In such a way, in June this year, Putin signed the decree on awarding generalship to professional Russian soldiers for crimes committed in the east of our country," he said.
According to Turchynov, the rank of general-lieutenant was awarded to major-general Asapov V. G., who had commanded the 1st Army Corps located in the occupied part of Donetsk region from April 2015 to May 2016.
The rank of lieutenant-general was awarded to major-general Yudin S. S., who had commanded the 2nd Army Corps located in the occupied part of Luhansk region from January to April 2015.
The rank of general-major was awarded to colonel Ruzynsky A. Y., who had commanded the 2nd separate motorized rifle brigade (Luhansk) of the 2nd Army Corps from April 2015 to May 2016.
