"Amid the Dutch support of the ratification of the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement, the occupiers cannot put up with this and are lobbing shells on our land," Zubko tweeted.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Russian troops and Russian-controlled militants in Donbas on January 29 launched a massive bombardment of Avdiyivka, using heavy artillery and Grad MRL systems, as well as tanks. This marked the beginning of another stage of escalation in the east of Ukraine.

On February 10, Defense Ministry speaker for Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) issues Oleksandr Motuzianyk said the situation in Avdiyivka was tense, but it was under control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the local authorities.
