Ukrainian civil volunteer and activist Yuriy Mysyagin has said the Ukrainian army has liberated several villages and taken control of several strategic heights at the Svitlodarska Duha bulge in Donbas, eastern Ukraine.
"Several villages were liberated [from the Russian-backed occupation forces] as a result of a no-notice military operation launched by our units. Villagers have met our infantry forces as liberators.
