Yushchenko holds phone talks with D. Medvedev

President Victor Yushchenko held a telephone conversation today with the winner of presidential elections in Russia Dmitry Medvedev, according to the President`s press-office.

During the conversation President Yushchenko greeted Mr. Medvedev with the victory in presidential elections. V. Yushchenko also expressed assurance that deepening of cooperation between Ukraine and Russia would continue and reassured that Ukraine is ready to further strengthen prolific bilateral relations based on mutual trust, understanding and pragmatism.
