Nearly 56 percent of voters cast their ballots in parliamentary elections in Moldova November 30, with three pro-Western parties gaining around 44% of the vote, while the pro-Russian opposition had 40% as of Monday morning.

More political bargaining is still to come as no single party will be able to form a government.

Just like Ukraine, Moldova has been under Russian pressure to turn from its pro-EU path.
