The investigating authorities in Arkhangelsk region and the Nenets Autonomous District have initiated criminal proceedings under Article 205 of the Criminal Code (terrorist act) and Part 1 Article 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal carrying of ammunition).

The alleged attacker has been identified but his name was not revealed. Investigative actions aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the crime are underway. Witnesses are being questioned, as well as all necessary examinations have been appointed.

As UNIAN reported earlier, incosnistencies were revealed in the official version of the investigation into the mass shooting in the occupied Crimea's Kerch College which claims that the attacker, a local student Vladislav Roslyakov, acted alone. Ukraine's Information Resistance OSINT group suggests it was Russian security services who masterminded the attack.
