Klimkin expressed gratitude for his colleague’s commitment and “dedication to the full implementation of the Minsk agreement,” Ukraine Today has reported.

Meanwhile, in eastern Ukraine two more casualties and four injuries among Ukrainian troops were reported in the past 24 hours.

The truce signed in Minsk this February seems fragile, as it has been continuously violated by Russia-backed militant forces in the Donbas.

The EU earlier promised to move ahead with further sanctions against Russia if the Minsk deal is ignored by Russia, while the leaders of European states still favor giving more time for the ceasefire deal to actually work out.
