"As far as I know, the invitation has not yet been sent to President Zelensky. Sending invitations is underway, but so far I can't say with regard to the president of Ukraine. I will have to clarify," he told journalists, according to an UNIAN correspondent in Russia.

To a clarifying question from UNIAN when the decision will be made on this invitation, Peskov said: "I will clarify and answer you later."

As UNIAN reported earlier, in late January, Peskov said he would clarify whether the intention to send an invitation to Zelensky to visit the May 9 parade in Moscow remained after the Ukrainian president's statement that the collusion of totalitarian regimes had led to the outbreak of World War II.
