NATO demands explanations on Lavrov’s statement regarding Ukraine and Georgia

NATO demands explanations from Sergey Lavrov, Foreign Minister of Russia, regarding his statement about Georgia and Ukraine, Prime-News reports.
The NATO Spokesman James Appathurai stated at the press conference that the Russian side had not made any explanations what kinds of step it should undertake for not to let Ukraine`s and Georgia`s further integration into the NATO and what did Lavrov mean, while speaking about “all measures”.
According to him, Georgia and Ukraine will be members of the alliance and it became clear on NATO Bucharest summit. James Appathurai stated that NATO member countries will decide issue related to the countries integration into the alliance.
Sergey Lavrov, Foreign Minister of the Russian federation, stated in his interview with “Echo Moskvi” that Moscow will do anything to prevent Georgia’s and Ukraine’s accession into the NATO.
