Russian anti-war protesters slam Putin's war in Syria, Ukraine
Some 100-200 activists gathered in Moscow on October 17 in support of Ukraine and against Russian airstrikes in Syria, Ukraine Today reports.
Participants held posters and waved flags - some banners featured anti-war slogans from murdered Kremlin critic Boris Nemtsov, according to Ukraine Today.
Members of the anti-Putin “Solidarity” opposition movement organized the demonstration.
Those protesting are angry - after the deaths of Russian soldiers the Kremlin sent to Ukraine, they believe more soldiers could die supporting the regime of Syrian President Bashar-al Assad.
