Participants held posters and waved flags - some banners featured anti-war slogans from murdered Kremlin critic Boris Nemtsov, according to Ukraine Today.

Members of the anti-Putin “Solidarity” opposition movement organized the demonstration.

Those protesting are angry - after the deaths of Russian soldiers the Kremlin sent to Ukraine, they believe more soldiers could die supporting the regime of Syrian President Bashar-al Assad.
