Entrance of Georgia and Ukraine to NATO are the issues to be resolved by members of the alliance and Russia cannot interfere in it, Sean McCormack, the spokesman for the US Department of State stated to a briefing in Washington, according to Trend News Agency.

McCormack was asked to comment on Russian’s doctrine, which President Dmitriy Medvedyev to Russian diplomats recently. The document speaks on inadmissibility of membership of Georgia and Ukraine to NATO for Russia.

“With respect to Georgia’s membership NATO stated in its Bucharest summit it is dealt with granting these countries with MAP and Russia cannot this process,” McCormack said.
