The Polish and Czech presidents claimed this on Thursday

The Polish and Czech presidents, Lech Kaczyński and Václav Klaus, respectively, supported the integration of Georgia and Ukraine into NATO, at their meeting at the Czech presidential chateau in Lany Thursday, to Prague Daily Monitor.

Russia follows Georgia and Ukraine`s NATO ambitions with apprehension. Russia says it would be a great strategic mistake if the two countries joined NATO.

It is due to Moscow`s apprehension that neither Georgia nor Ukraine has as yet received an invitation to participate in the Membership Action Plan (MAP) that is preparation for NATO membership.
