On the flooding in Western Ukraine

The United States is exploring ways in which it can be of assistance in the Ukrainian tragedy, according to the statement from U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine William B. Taylor on the flooding in Western Ukraine.

“On behalf of the Embassy and the American people, I extend our deep condolences to the people of Ukraine and to the families who lost loved ones in the horrendous flooding in Western Ukraine. We applaud the efforts being waged by emergency personnel to find and rescue the missing. We are exploring ways in which the United States can be of assistance in this tragedy”, reads the statement.
