US House of Representatives has adopted a resolution backing the NATO`s further enlargement and it is stated in the resolution that "not any state, which is not a member state of the alliance" has not got right to vote for or pro of its enlargement, according to Daily Georgian Times.
"Any decision referring membership in NATO will be taken by members of the NATO by means of a consensus, and any state outside NATO has not got right to vote or veto about accepting such decisions", it is said in the resolution.
It is clearly stated in the resolution that the US Congress had backed the NATO`s enlargement and thought that proceeding interactions with all countries [including Georgia and Ukraine], which aspire in NATO, would strengthen safety for all states of the Euro-Atlantic region.
