Container with MiG-29 plane detained in Xianggang

Xianggang customs authorities detained a container with a MiG-29 plane which had apparently arrived from Ukraine. The cargo was headed for the United States, Japan`s Kyodo Tsushin news agency reported on Wednesday, according to Itar-Tass.

The container was detained on April 2. The cargo had no transit permission, and the purpose of its delivery do the USA was not stated either.

Customs officials said the fighter carries no armaments and had its engine removed.
