Yushchenko congratulates Ban Ki-moon

Victor Yushchenko has congratulated South Korean Foreign Minister Ban Ki-moon on being formally elected the next United Nations secretary general, according to the President`s press-office.

“Your confident victory is an expressive proof of the significance of your personal qualities, outlook, energy and deep commitment to the cause of UN reforms,” he wrote in a letter.

The President assured Mr. Ban Ukraine would fully support his mission to face current and future challenges and menaces.
