Peskov claims Putin and Poroshenko meet away from the public eye
The Russian president's press secretary Dmitry Peskov claims that Vladimir Putin and his Ukrainian counterpart Petro Poroshenko meet away from the public eye, according to an UNIAN correspondent in Russia.
"Such meetings that we do not report do take place," Peskov said on Russia's Rossiya 1 TV channel when asked whether meetings between the Russian and Ukrainian presidents are held.

"This is common practice. And when you see the president having a packed agenda with a dozen different meetings, press conferences, statements, negotiations, and so on, this doesn't mean the president's working day is limited to them. It is much busier and more informative than it can be shown on TV. Therefore, indeed, there are meetings that we do not inform the media about," Peskov said.
There are different telephone conversations, which are also not officially reported, he added.
