Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the directives of the Ukrainian delegation and measures in the framework of Prime Minister’s working visit to the United States of America, scheduled for December 3-7, 2006, according to the press-office of the Cabinet of Ministers.
While considering the directives’ approval by the Cabinet, Prime Minister underscored the importance of this visit in preparation of which almost all Ministries and departments have participated.
At the same time the Head of Government had to read a letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to the US Embassy concerning postponement of the visit.
In Prime Minister’s opinion, such steps of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine are inadmissible. “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs can’t govern the Cabinet”, Viktor Yanukovych stated.
