President pleased with Estonia visit

Victor Yushchenko has told correspondents in Tallinn he is pleased with results of his visit to Estonia, according to the President`s press-office.

      Not only was this visit important in the context of the development of bilateral ties, he said, but also to reinforce regional ties and support Ukraine’s European aspirations.

      “I held very fruitful talks with the President of Estonia,” he said, adding that his meeting with Estonia’s parliamentary speaker and members of parliament was also successful. “The major conclusion is that in the attitude of the Estonian government we see the position of our friend and partner supporting Ukraine’s home and foreign policies.”
