The funeral for late Polish President Lech Kaczynski and his wife Maria will be held on Sunday after a memorial service on Saturday, according to RIA Novosti.
"The memorial service is planned for Saturday and it follows that the burial of the presidential couple will take place on Sunday," Deputy Chief of the Chancellery of the President of Poland Jacek Sasin told a Polish radio station.
The bodies of Kaczynski and his wife will lie in state until Saturday in the Polish capital of Warsaw before the service so everyone will have the chance to pay last respects to the presidential couple.
Leaders of different countries will attend the funeral of late President Kaczynski and his wife.
"I`m expecting the whole world to come to Warsaw," Poland`s Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski told TOK FM radio station, adding that Russian President Dmitry Medvedev wanted to attend the funeral.
The late Polish president and first lady died alongside 94 other people in a plane crash in west Russia on Saturday morning.
The delegation of top officials was on its way to pay tribute to some 20,000 Polish officers executed by Soviet secret police in 1940.
Poland has declared a 7-day period of national mourning.
