PM hailed intention of the EU to send experts to Ukraine

Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych considers that a new agreement between Ukraine and the EU should fix priority trends of reforms in Ukraine, which will entail the work at the respective programs of their realization, according to the government’s press-office.

During his talks with European Commission President José Manuel Barroso, Viktor Yanukovych stressed higher Ukrainian leadership realizes clearly that only successive steps will advance Ukraine closer to its strategic aim, which is accidence to the Eurounion.

The Head of the Government hailed intention of the EU to send experts to Ukraine with the aim to render technical aid in development of programs on realization of these reforms.

Moreover, Prime Minister of Ukraine and Eurocommission President have discussed security of energy carriers’ deliveries to Europe and the need to enlarge cooperation with Caspian basin countries and Middle Asia in this context.

José Manuel Barroso emphasized that Ukraine is a key transit state in the issues of energy carriers’ supply to the EU countries.
