Ukraine, Brazil to begin building space rocket complex

Ukraine, Brazil will begin building “Tsyklon-4” space rocket complex at “Alkantara” Brazil cosmodrome in autumn of 2007.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, National Space agency of Ukraine deputy chief Eduard Kuznetsov claimed this to a press conference in Dnipropetrovsk.

Ukraine and Brazil have already appointed chiefs of “Alkantara-Tsyklon-Space” joint venture, which will fulfill the project, he said.

E.Kuznetsov pointed out that “Tsyklon-4” is created to launch spacecrafts from “Alkantara” to near-earth orbits.
