Hundreds of protesters on Tuesday gathered at a parking lot in Kuwait City to demand for reforms and swift changes in the oil-rich emirate, according to Xinhua.

Protesters held banners and listened to speeches given by opposition lawmakers over their discontent on the government near the emirate`s government building and grand mosque.

Police forces are on high alert as more protestors are swarming into the area. Some protesters used Twitter service in their mobile phone to publish updates of the demonstration.
