On February 6, the Junge Union Deutschlands ("Young Union" of Germany) and Bundestag deputy Philip Missfelder held a protest outside the Ukrainian Embassy in Berlin against political persecution and authoritarian rule in Ukraine, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.
The protesters held signs saying "Free Yulia" and "Europe without Dictatorship: Yanukovych = Lukashenko" and called for an end to politically motivated prosecution of the opposition and release of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and other political prisoners, a press release by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation reported.
