In Hostomel, Victor Yushchenko said he expected U.S. President George Bush and Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit Ukraine this year, according to the President’s press-office.
He said Ukraine wanted these two visits to be thoroughly prepared and yield results. This will only be possible when we have effective parliament and government, he explained.
“In my opinion, each country believes another country should have effective parliament and government when planning a visit. Any visit requires colossal effort of the government,” he said when asked to comment Mr. Bush’s decision to postpone his visit to Ukraine.
