Polish vice-premier Waldemar Pawlak has said in Kiev that Ukraine should cooperate with the European Union on many platforms and Poland is ready to help it achieve a high level of this cooperation, according to Polskie Radio.

“Ukraine declares clearly that it aspires to EU membership and this is a cause for satisfaction”, Pawlak told journalists. “We have in mind not only politics, but also cooperation on the social level. Polish experience may be of use here. We can build bridges between scientists, youths and create joint economic projects involving not only big firms but also small businesses”, the Polish vice-premier said.
