As many as 8,489,675 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases had been reported as of 08:33 on June 19, according to the Coronavirus COVID-19 Global Cases dashboard by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.

The overall death toll is 453,987 people, while 4,155,247 coronavirus patients have already recovered.

The countries most affected by the coronavirus pandemic include the United States (2,191,052 confirmed cases), Brazil (978,142), Russia (560,321), India (380,532), the United Kingdom (301,935), Spain (245,268), Peru (244,388), Italy (238,159), Chile (225,103), Iran (197,647), France (195,272), Germany (189,817).

As many as 188 countries have been affected by the virus.
