Russia's hybrid military forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in Donbas 50 times in the past 24 hours, with two Ukrainian soldiers reported as wounded in action (WIA).

"In the Donetsk sector, the defenders of Butivka coal mine, and the villages of Nevelske and Novotroyitske came under fire from 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms," the press center of the headquarters of Ukraine's military operations reported on Facebook Thursday morning.

In addition, the Ukrainian positions near the village of Mykolayivka were attacked with the use of 120mm mortars. Moreover, the enemy employed 82mm mortars and grenade launchers near the villages of Pisky and Vodiane.

Furthermore, small arms were used near the towns of Avdiyivka and Maryinka, and the villages of Lebedynske, Verkhniotoretske, Kamianka and Shyrokyne. A sniper was active near Hnutove.

In the Luhansk sector, occupiers fired 82mm mortars at the Ukrainian fortified positions near the village of Novo-Oleksandrivka and the town of Popasna, as well as grenade launchers at the defenders of the village of Luhanske and the town of Svitlodarsk.

The Russian occupation forces also used heavy machine guns against the Ukrainian positions in the village of Novoluhanske, and sniper weapons near the villages of Maiorsk and Novhorodske.
