Commander of Ukraine's Joint Forces Serhiy Nayev has said the Ukrainian military will vote only at the polling stations and no ballot boxes are supposed to be brought to the Joint Forces Operation zone during the presidential vote on March 31.

"There are polling stations, no other measures are envisaged. They will go and vote where it is possible. And where there is no possibility, it means they will continue performing their duties," he told Ukrainian TV Channel UA:Donbas.

Nayev also said the election campaign was not being conducted among the military.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Chief of the General Staff and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko said Russia had been making use of a period of pre-election "turbulence" in Ukraine to conduct a range of special operations to undermine the country's defense potential.
