TSN conducted its own exit poll / Photo from UNIAN

Presidential candidates Volodymyr Zelensky and Petro Poroshenko will compete in a run-off of the presidential elections in Ukraine, according to an exit poll conducted by TSN.

The findings of the TSN exit poll are the following:

  • Volodymyr Zelensky has received 30.1% of votes;
  • Petro Poroshenko has 18.5%;
  • Yulia Tymoshenko has 14.0%;
  • Yuriy Boyko – 9.1%;
  • Anatoly Hrysenko – 7.6%;
  • Ihor Smeshko – 6.6%;
  • Oleh Liashko – 5.0%;
  • Oleksandr Vilkul – 3.7%;
  • Ruslan Koshulynsky – 1.9%;
  • Oleksandr Shevchenko – 0.6%.

The TSN exit poll was conducted on March 31, 2019, by research companies Kantar TNS and Info Sapiens on the order of Channel 1 + 1.

About 20,000 respondents aged 18 and older were interviewed at the exit of 600 polling stations throughout Ukraine (except for special polling stations for the military, in prisons and hospitals, as well as polling places abroad and in Russia-occupied areas). The respondents were polled, using personal interviews.

The margin of error is not higher than 0.7%.

The research methodology was developed according to international standards for exit polls, taking into account the long-term experience of employees of both companies in conducting exit polls during the previous elections in Ukraine.
