"We have full control over the situation with security in the region, preventing attempts of sabotage and provocation, and neutralizing criminals. There have been neither formations nor entities that may pose a threat to Ukraine's statehood or territorial integrity here, and none will be created," adviser to the SBU chief, Markiyan Lubkivsky wrote on Facebook.
"I mean, first of all, the information about the so-called "People's Council of Bessarabia," "People's Republic of Bessarabia," etc. that is being spread in social networks. Operational activities go on in the city and the region to safeguard Ukraine's statehood and ensure security of residents of Odesa," Lubkivsky explained.
