"America and Europe now are staying together, united in our commitment to impose tough economic sanctions on Russia. And while Russian aggression persists, the cost imposed on Moscow will continue to rise," Biden said in Ukraine's parliament in Kyiv on Tuesday.
In his words, Ukraine should be economically and financially strong to protect its choice and not to allow other countries and forces to influence the country and undermine its economic stability.
"The United States is with you in this fight," he added.
