Biden: Russia using corruption to undermine Ukraine's stability
U.S. Vice President Joe Biden claims Russia is using corruption as a tool of coercion to undermine the stability and sovereignty of Ukraine, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"Russia is trying to undermine the stability and sovereignty of Ukraine any way they can, including squeezing Ukraine financially, trying to undermine your economy. They view it as a cheaper way than sending tanks across the line of contact," Biden said in Ukraine's parliament in Kyiv on Tuesday.
"Ukraine must be strong and will have to choose its own future – strongly, strong defensively, strong economically with a strong system of democratic governance," Biden said.
