As UNIAN reported earlier, on September 5, the Ukrainian parliament passed the bill “On Education,” providing for the introduction of 12-year secondary education for children who will start school next year.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that the law "gives a key to the future of Ukraine."
Meanwhile, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania expressed concern about the norms of the new law on education regarding the language of study for representatives of national minorities in Ukraine. A
Hungary and Poland have also expressed concern over the matter.
