"Yesterday, she vomited the water, which she was trying to drink. In addition, her state of health is getting worse. Her old problem with kidney stones has worsened because of stress to the body in the form of hunger strike (especially dry). Her fever heat doesn't subside and it means that she has a serious inflammation of the internal organs. In other words, it is now an urgent need to conduct her medical examination," the lawyer said.
According to Polozov, she does not let Russian doctors examine her.
At the same time, Ukrainian doctors are still in the Russian-based city of Rostov-on-Don, but they have not received permission from the Russian authorities to meet and examine Nadia.
Savchenko urgently needs medical examination to assess the current state of health, to identify potential risks and correct way out of a dry hunger strike.
"I've read that the Ukrainian authorities asked Germany to send its doctors to Nadia. But when will they come? We urgently need to solve this problem," Polozov said.
