Since 11 June, a total of 441,000 Ukrainians crossed the border with the EU, including 90,000 citizens who used biometric passports. Some 18,000 people benefited from the visa-free regime and crossed the border only with biometric passports, the agency said.

Visa-free carrot and stick, chance in Washington, and poetry battlesThirty-two percent of them, namely over 5,700, used air service, while the others crossed the border through motorway or railway checkpoints, most of them at the border with Poland (7,500 citizens) and Hungary (2,270 citizens).

As UNIAN reported earlier, only 17 Ukrainians had been denied entry into EU since the introduction of the visa-free regime.
