
Leader of the Batkivshchyna Party, Ukrainian MP Yulia Tymoshenko, who tested positive for the novel coronavirus, is in a serious condition.
The politician is on a ventilator, the RBC Ukraine news agency reports with reference to its own sources.

Her daughter Eugenia, as well as son-in-law Arthur Chechetkin, who also contracted the coronavirus, have mild cases.
Tymoshenko contracted COVID-19
On August 23, Tymoshenko's press secretary said the leader of the Batkivshchyna Party had tested positive for COVID-19.
Tymoshenko's daughter Eugenia, as well as Eugenia's husband Arthur Chechetkin, also fell ill, according to media reports.
