Ukrainian Air Force gets modernized MiG-29MU1 fighter jets - Poroshenko

The Ukrainian air force received modernized MiG-29MU1 fighter jets. Two aircraft have already been delivered to one of the bases, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko wrote on Facebook.

"The MiG-29 fighter, like the Su-27, is the main combat aircraft of the Air Force of Ukraine. Upgraded to the level of the MiG-29MU1, the aircraft in particular received a more powerful radar, as well as an integrated satellite navigation system," the president wrote.

According to Poroshenko, the Lviv State Aviation and Repair Plant carried out works on improving the combat aircraft, together with other enterprises of the State Concern Ukroboronprom.
