Russian occupation forces twice opened fire in the Joint Forces Operation zone on August 31, Ukraine's Command reported.
That's according to a morning update posted on the JFO Facebook page September 1.
Provocations were reported near the settlements of Vodiane and Avdiyivka.
In the first location, the enemy employed small arms, and in the latter it was an under-barrel grenade launcher, according to the update.

Since day-start on Tuesday, no fire provocations have been recorded in Donbas.
The JFO HQ has recalled that starting today, all crossing checkpoints along the line of contact switch to the autumn operating mode. Open hours are from 7:00 to 18:30.

The latest full and comprehensive ceasefire has been operating on the contact line in the zone of the Joint Forces Operation in Donbas since July 27.
Russian invaders have been provoking Ukrainian troops by random gunfire, while no heavy artillery shelling has been reported in the warzone.
