NATO to sign accession protocol with Macedonia on Feb 6

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has said the alliance will sign an accession protocol with Macedonia on February 6.

"On February 6 we will write history: NATO Allies will sign the accession protocol with the future Republic of North Macedonia together with FM Dimitrov Nikola," he wrote on Twitter on February 2, 2019.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Greece's parliament voted on January 25 in favor of a deal to end a diplomatic dispute with the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) that had plagued relations for nearly 30 years.
