The first case of the novel coronavirus in Poland has reportedly been registered in the Polish city of Łódź.
A 25-year-old woman has tested positive for the coronavirus, Poland's Express Ilustrowany reported on February 27.

She spent a month in Thailand and returned to Poland on February 22; she was feeling unwell.
According to media reports, the test for the coronavirus showed a positive result, she is being examined.
There is no yet official confirmation or refutation of the report about the coronavirus case in Poland.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the Chinese authorities reported an outbreak of pneumonia of unknown origin in Wuhan late in December 2019.
The causative agent of the disease was a new type of coronavirus, COVID-19. The virus is transmitted from person to person, with the incubation period lasting at least two weeks.
On January 30, the World Health Organization declared an international emergency over the spread of the novel coronavirus from China.
