Trump reveals meaning of "calm before the storm" allusion

U.S. President Donald Trump has said he was in fact speaking about North Korea, when he told reporters at a White House military dinner recently about "the calm before the storm," according to his latest interview with Fox News.


As reported earlier, while taking photos alongside military leaders and their spouses before a dinner at the White House, U.S. President Donald Trump made an ambiguous statement, citing "the calm before the storm," which left many anxious.

This time, in an interview with Fox News, Trump noted that he had spoken about North Korea. He said that the U.S. could not allow the development of Pyongyang's nuclear and missile program to continue.
