"In the Donetsk sector, they have been firing from 120mm-caliber mortars to attack Pisky [near the destroyed Donetsk airport]. At about midnight, there was a skirmish with a reconnaissance and sabotage group of militants. The invaders were also shelling the Butivka coalmine," the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) press center reported on Facebook.
Near the city of Luhansk, militants were shelling Ukrainian troops in the town of Schastia and the village of Krymske. They also used grenade launchers to attack the village of Stanytsia Luhanska.
"The firing is over and it's relatively calm in the Artemivsk sector. They were shelling the villages of Leninske and Mayorske from large-caliber mortars banned by the Minsk accords. Anti-tank guided missiles and heavy machine guns were used by bandits near the village of Lozove. In the long-suffering village of Shyrokyne one could hear explosions from 120mm-caliber mortars again," the press center informed.
Enemy drones became active in the evening. They were spotted in the air over Shyrokyne, the Ukrainian-controlled city of Mariupol, the villages of Volodarske, Orlivske, Pavlopil, Lomakyne, Pischevyk, and Manhush in Donetsk region.
Presidential administration press secretary for ATO issues Oleksandr Motuzianyk said on May 10 that there were no deaths among Ukrainian soldiers, four servicemen were wounded in the past 24 hours.
