The Cabinet of Ministers has drafted a bill toughening liability for acts of domestic and gender-based violence committed by military personnel, police officers, and other officials who are subject to disciplinary regulations.
That's according to Oleksiy Honcharenko, a Ukrainian legislator.
Such persons will bear administrative responsibility on a general basis.

- Bring servicemen and other persons subject to disciplinary regulations to responsibility on a general basis for committing acts of domestic and gender-based violence;
- Bring the list of persons subject to disciplinary regulations in line with legislation;
- Have cases of administrative offenses heard under Article 1732 of the Code of Administrative Offenses without the obligatory presence of potential offenders in court if they were duly summoned but failed to report.
The changes are aimed at ensuring an appropriate response to cases of domestic and gender-based violence by military, police, and other officers who are subject to disciplinary codes, and toughening liability of such persons for committing such offenses.
